Atrenne Engineers Train on DFM Customer Success, in the City of Champions

Dubbed the ‘City of Champions’ for its rich sports history, Brockton, MA has been home of Atrenne Headquarters for nearly 50 years. It’s also the hometown to two boxing legends, Rocky Marciano “The Brockton Blockbuster” (1928-1969), the only heavyweight champion to have finished his career undefeated, and “Marvelous” Marvin Hagler (1954-2021), former undisputed middleweight who said “every fighter has got to be dedicated, learn how to sacrifice, know what the devotion is all about, make sure you’re paying attention and studying your art.”

Failure was also not an option for two boxing greats and neither is it for Atrenne engineers. As part of continuing training at Atrenne, over the last few days our design and manufacturing engineers in our Brockton (City of Champions) headquarters have been training in the latest methods and best practices in Design for Manufacturing (DFM).  DFM is an intensive training on methods of creating great product designs that simplify manufacturing techniques and use standardized parts and materials. These methods help to ensure our customers are receiving the highest quality products, the shortest lead times, and the best support in the embedded computing industry.
